Now Hiring: Senior Quality Technician (Onsite - Twin Cities Area)
I'm working with a well-established manufacturing organization in the packaging/production space that is looking to add a Senior Quality Technician to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step into a site-level quality leadership role with a mix of hands-on and strategic work.
?? About the Role
This is a mid-to-senior level position combining production floor engagement with audit, compliance, and reporting responsibilities. You'll initially spend time learning on-floor processes, then transition into owning quality systems, audits, and certification support.
?? Key Responsibilities
- Lead site-level quality compliance initiatives and certification efforts (e.g., food safety/quality standards)
- Support internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness
- Manage nonconformance processes, including root cause and corrective actions
- Partner with production teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout operations
- Develop and maintain quality procedures, reporting, and metrics
- Train and mentor staff on quality processes and best practices
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and occasionally support customer-related quality inquiries
- Utilize testing equipment and oversee product quality validation processes
?? Team Structure
- Reports directly to site leadership
- Works alongside a remote senior quality professional
- Supported by a broader quality assurance team
? Ideal Background
- 3-5+ years in manufacturing quality (non-software)
- Experience with audits, reporting, and compliance-not just floor-level work
- Background in packaging, printing, or similar production environments is a plus
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., food production or medical devices) is transferable
- Familiarity with quality systems, certifications, and continuous improvement practices
?? Role Details
- Location: Fully onsite (Twin Cities metro)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, standard business hours
- Pay: $30-$35/hour
?? Why This Role?
- High visibility role with direct impact on site quality performance
- Blend of hands-on work and strategic ownership
- Opportunity to grow into broader quality leadership
- Collaborative, team-oriented manufacturing environment
